Every month I share pages of my creative journal with you.
I love reflecting. Looking back over the pages of my journals to notice and understand the themes and messages that emerged. This month it seems that the idea of home was on my mind and a need to experiment with brush lettering, as always lots of layering and I am in love with the softness these pages have.
I recently felt a little disconnected from my journaling practice, probably due to a lack of time to get in there and get lost in the process. So this month I made an effort to make time (even just a few stolen minutes here and there) and just put something on the page, anything really - and be ok with the result.
This definitely lifted some of the pressure, there are pages I dislike and pages I love more than I thought I would when I was creating them! Most importantly there are lots of little love notes to myself within the pages, ones that I know I will keep coming back to read again and again - isn’t that is what is most important (and magical) with journaling?
