ESPECIALLY FOR TIMES OF UNCERTAINTY

WHEN YOU CAN’T GO OUTSIDE, TRAVEL INSIDE INSTEAD

ARE YOU READY TO TRANSFORM YOUR INNER CHAOS TO INNER CALM WITH MINDFUL JOURNALING

Getting out of your head and into your journal has never been so important. With so much uncertainty in the world right now the only thing you can really lean on is yourself.

For so long so many of us having been waiting, waiting til we “have the time” to focus on ourselves.

Now we have it. We have, amid this pandemic, been given this gift of time to truly turn inward and focus on every aspect of our 'self'.

Are you using this time for self care and self development?

I know at times it can be hard to feel positive and self care has probably dropped off your to do list entirely.

But here's the thing, now is not the time for fear or panic, stress or self sabotage, now more than ever is a time to be focused on what makes us stronger.

Prioritising YOU; your physical, emotional and spiritual health is what is going to allow you to love and support those around you to the best of your ability.

For so many of us, when we feel anxious, the temptation is to go into our head. I want to encourage you instead, to dive into your journal with as much heart as you can.

This kind of self care is never selfish - it is necessary for survival.

So much of our external world is shaped by what is going on in our internal world. If you are making choices and decisions from a place of fear, panic, confusion or stress, the outcomes are likely to be reflections of those emotions.

Journaling can be a powerful tool for supporting wellness and journaling creatively & mindfully adds a whole new layer to this technique that can have wide reaching and long lasting effects on your emotional and physical well being.

what is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is simply the ability to be fully present in the moment - not worrying about the past or the future. Engaging in mindfulness has been proven to decrease stress, reduce sadness, increase focus and elevate happiness.

WHY JOURNALING?

Journaling is one tool that you can use to engage in mindfulness (another could be meditation for example), journaling allows you to explore your mental landscape and bring consciousness to what you are experiencing or what is going on around you.

Journaling creatively in this way can help you express your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement, bring awareness to your emotional triggers, relieve stress in a safe and controlled space and support you with processing difficult experiences.

Make the most of this opportunity we have been given, to reflect and reset, to transform your inner chaos to inner calm and guide yourself back to mental clarity and wellness.
